Fremont Lake has been a favorite Wyoming recreation destination for nearly 100 years. The natural beauty of this pristine and mostly undeveloped lake is framed by timbered foothills and the snowy peaks of the Wind River Mountain Range in the Bridger Teton National Forest. Originally, the grounds included a small summer fishing lodge and a few rustic cabins built in the early 1930’s. More recently, this year round resort includes an updated lodge, modern cabins and marina. The main lodge, which was rebuilt and moved off the water to prevent settling, includes a restaurant, second floor lounge and waterfront deck that welcomes guests with an inspiring view of the Wind River Range as the backdrop. Modern log cabins offer comfortable, home inspired accommodations with covered outdoor decks for sitting and appreciating the view. The updated marina provides mooring for boat owners as well as opportunities for visitors to spend a day on the lake in one of our motor or paddle boats. The distinctive log buildings reflect the heritage of the area and provide a place where locals and travelers alike will always be welcomed and sent home inspired.
Lakeside Lodge is owned by a partnership of people who have a common bond in their appreciation and love of Fremont Lake and the Wind River Range. The current ownership has operated the lodge since 1994 and considers it an honor to be the temporary stewards of the area. After eighteen years of sharing this unusual and inspiring place with our guests, we are seeking to sell Lakeside Lodge to the next generation of entrepreneurs. The property has been significantly extended and modified during our ownership and is currently a popular destination for locals and visitors.
